Beautiful butterfly
This is such a beautiful butterfly, which unfortunately I could not get the upperside of the wings, because from what i learn from he internet, the upperside and the underside of the wings is so different in color.
This is Neopithecops zalmora, the Quaker, is a small butterfly found in South Asia and Southeast Asia that belongs to the lycaenids or blues family.
And the reason I could not get the upper side of the wings is that it has the habit of keeping its wings erect when it is resting or feeding. So that explains why I could not get the other side of the wings, and also the reason I could get so many photos of this butterfly. If not because it is resting maybe I could not get as many photos, it might fly away right away when I tried to get close to it.
