Just a story!!

Back in the days when slavery was abolished, the US Navy still did not accept any black recruits as diving officers.

A young man named Carl Brashier wrote letters to the Navy Diving school for admission and he was rejected every time. He wrote those letters for straight 2 years and then one day he was accepted.

He was treated differently, was made sure to regret his decision everyday he stayed there but he still did not give up and cleared every exam with the highest scores.

In an accident he lost a leg and the Navy told him to resign however he amputed his leg and got a duplicate leg. Still passed the diving test and was made Master Chief.

This story just shows the sheer determination we need in oir lives and when it comea from real people, we feel it is possible.
