Just give it sometime

When you are angered. Don't stand there explaining, turn your back and leave.
When they lie against you and still not ready to listen to your part of the story, stop explaining yourself, turn your back and leave.
There are many times that those you are trying to explain yourself to are the ones who will even spoil the issue. Not everything needs your time and energy. Sometimes you just need to wait a while for the truth to come out.
Don't be too quick to prove yourself innocent. Joseph ended up in prison and Jesus on the cross and they were all for a greater good.
