Stay foolishhh!!!
Hi Steemers
As IT engineer 32 years old, I spent part of my 20s following the myth of Steve Job.
I would like to explain you how to follow his actions changed my way of thinking.
I guess is a good chance to know us better
Steve Jobs was a particular person, we cannot say he had a simple childhood, an adoptive son, with a mechanical dad and accountant mom, certainly not the son of millionaires.
No degree, did not start in mega offices, started in a garage ... then Apple, Next, Pixar, then Apple again and the rest is then history ..
In a few words, this is Steve Jobs, a person who helped to change the world. He is famous for the phrase he mentioned during the speech to Stanford students,
“stay hungry stay foolish”.
But what does it mean: to be a fool? what did he mean?
I want to give you my interpretation.
Foolery for me is: to do everything to avoid the stereotypes that society imposes on us, for example at work. If you have no job, are you finished? ... no ... if you do not have a job, you'll invent it and maybe even give it to someone else.
Foolery is also smiling, motivating ourselves for a small thing, even a small success and when the others tell you: "Why are you so happy?" you look at them and say "Nothing", knowing that if it is not so crazy as they will never understand you.
Foolery is to set goals high, but so high that the people around will tell you: “keep your feet on the ground". This phrase: "keep your feet on the ground" to a normal person means lets come back down to earth, to a foolish person instead it triggers the further folly which shoes him that he is on the right path.
Foolery is daydreaming with open eyes; while others unlike you barely do it at night.
Foolery is to face a problem and say, "So? That’s it?" while the others, the normal ones, use the problem to build their own excuses.
Foolery is to be aware that only those who are crazy, but so crazy to believe they can change the world, one day maybe it will really change.
Of foolery there could be a thousand definitions but ultimately foolery is something that happens to you when everyone else sees you as a fool but you continue undaunted to see yourself as the norm, and then to see the real fools that are not in some way as outside the box as you are.
If you like that, follow me, or/and write a comment below with your personal opinion.
I also think that foolery can be that you take a path or task, which you do not have an idea how you will make it, but you still take the commitment, because you know that is the right decision and you will figure out "somehow", but could be so overwhelming and stupid to everyone else. And I think, we need more people like this, who has that courage.
Hello there and welcome to Steemit :)
I completely agree pleasure to meet you and thanks for your comment
