Lightning flashed and thunder boomed. It was a chilly night on the 19th day of December 1996 when a cute and healthy baby girl was born, they called her Belva. Though the day didn't start out with the most ideal conditions, it became one of the most magical moments of their lives.

My parents wanted me to be a lawyer, which is why they named me after an American activist and lawyer Belva Ann Lockwood who was the first woman to argue a case before the U.S. Supreme court.

When I was a child, someone told me that if I make a wish to the airplane in the sky, my dreams will come true. That makes me to believe that airplanes always carry lots of dreams. At that time, I started to dream of becoming a flight attendant.

Seems like there are lots of us who have big dreams, who want to do something meaningful with our lives, away from the safe and forgettable, but we're worried about what our parents will think. We're worried about disappointing them. My parents aren't exactly thrilled with the lifestyle I've chosen for myself, but I'm fortunate that they haven't offered up much resistance to it. As long as I'm happy and not hurting anyone, they're pretty cool with however I choose to live my life.

At the age of 15, I was independent and I knew one thing, that I'm the master of my life and I can shape it in any way I want. I enrolled at one of the biggest aerospace in Asia. I've learned to increase my own sanity, confidence and fun during my freshman year in Airline Management at Indiana Aerospace University.

I am a person who is positive in every aspect of life. There are many things I like to do, to see, and to experience. Everyone can do all sorts of things, so why do just one? I worked as a photo model. I have a huge passion for acting and I love being in front of the camera. I trained myself how to pose by doing facial expressions in front of the mirror. Modelling isn't something I want to do just on its own, but I always want it to be part of my life. I would say modelling is a very difficult thing. It's glamorous and fun, but underneath it all, you know your flaws and those are what you focus on. I strongly believe I was given this opportunity for a reason and with that in mind, I felt I had to create something and give back my experiences.

I love playing the guitar. Music has been an important part of my life. The guitar is a link, a translator between cultures, a way to communicate not only with your heart and soul, but with your history, culture, beliefs, life-lessons, and yes, your horde of emotions. I believe that it is an instrument that fits me particularly well because it is a very individualistic instrument, an instrument that can be played in many different ways and reveals the personality of the person playing it. The work of the guitar taught me that it can be achieved with daily practice. Music gave me a purpose when I felt none. I feel like when I play, I'm trying to resonate in harmony with all the chaos around me. It calms me down, it's a therapeutic exercise.

Charity work is a labor of love. I love supporting a cause I care about. We see and experience things everyday that scream for our help. God has given me this passion that continues to motivate me to take action and make a difference. It provided me some of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I love the great feeling it brings. Have you ever taken a meal to someone who was sick or paid for stranger's meal for no reason at all? If you haven't, give it a try. If you have, then you already know the great feeling you receive when doing something unselfish for someone else. The feeling you get is no different when volunteering your time to a cause you're passionate about.

Does it ever seem like you have more adversity in your life than other people do? As if everyone around you is having an easier time of things than you are? You begin to feel sorry for yourself and think, "Why does this stuff always happen to me?" In the past years, I have learned many new things. During this time, many of my beliefs were broken and I learned that life is not so simple, and it will never be a constant joy ride. There will be good days and there will be bad days, but what matters is how you deal with them. So today, I am grateful for this gift of expression that helps me better understand my thoughts and lets me grasp life in ways that would otherwise escape me.

I'm very unfamiliar with the concept of blogging. What am I doing? I'm well out of my confort zone. I'm super excited to start this journey. I think this is a great way to share my voice and a great form of mass communication. It allows me to connect with other individual who share the same interests.

A huge thank you for reading and following along with me. You don't have no idea how much I appreciate you all. I hope you all have a great day! ☺️

Hi @belvaj! I am Jassenn, one of the classmates of Moshe. I can see your potential to be the next @sweetsssj here in Steemit. However, I need to open these things up to you :

  1. You need to explore first the overall Platform of Steemit, how it is done, and why it is still running.
2nd : Read introductory posts via #introduceyourself. If you were just able to tag the appropriate tags. I am expecting 50 to hundred dollar payout of your post.
3rd : A verification photo is needed. That will prove your identity as a person. A lot of people here are not recognized by the society especially models because they've not posted their verification photos as proof of identity. I have lots of things to talk to you. Welcome to Steemit :)
