Steemit issue

This is my second post. I tried to login using my maiden password in steemit this morning but it was declined with a display mentioning few details which was definitely not a part of the password..hence, the next try was to generate a new password where the display mentions there is no such account owner. Quite messy and fussy about this now. Seeking help..
