Hello, everyone!
My name is Jack. I just joined Steemit after my friend showed it to me a few weeks ago. I am fairly new to Crypto investing, but I'm really enjoying it (even if I've lost a bit of money... woops).
As part of my introduction, I want to offer my music, which Iicense royalty-free under the Creative Commons - Attribution license. What this means is that anyone can use my music for anything at all (commercial or otherwise), free of charge, as long as you credit my artist name somewhere.
My artist name is Avaren. I make electronic music (mostly House/Electro, but I like to dabble). My music has been featured in some of the History Channel's "HowStuffWorks" videos (I will post links if anyone wants to see them, but I don't want to spam self-promotion). I have also had multiple travel documentaries, gyms, and some products use my songs for promotional videos. Indie game developers also love using my music because of how non-restrictive the license is!
Even if you don't have a project you need music for, you can still check out my SoundCloud (linked above), or, if you just like downloading free music, head to my website for downloads! The site is set up like an online store, but if you add something to your cart and head to checkout, you will notice you don't have to pay anything. Anything on my SoundCloud with a download button is licensed royalty-free.
Anyway, that's the most exciting thing about me, so I wanted to share it with all of you. I make music for fun in my free time, and I love being able to give it to other people to help them complete project. It's very fun to see all the different ways people have used my music for their videos, games, etc. If you do end up using one of my songs, send me a message on my facebook or Twitter, or just reply here. I share on my page(s) when people send me their finished products that use my music :)
