Thanks for reading some of my long-winded post! I no longer have those speakers and have since upgraded my studio (by the grace of good fortune) but those Bx8a's are still some fantastic production monitors!

    Yes!
    I'm impressed of the bass.. even without subwoofer!
    I use them only to listen to music and to mix some sets..^^
