Hello Steemit! Second #introduceyourself, Tell me something about YOU!

My name is Ashley Chapman. I am here to connect with people on a deeper more intimate level, learn from my new friends and overall be a better writer. I heard about steemit from a fellow entrepreneur and steemer @CharlesFuchs and after hearing the huge potentials this fairly new platform has to offer, I just had to come check it out for myself.

I decided the best way to connect with so many new faces is to give you a little closet information on who I am.

The Deets on Ashley:

30 years old
From a very small town in Missouri
Country girl (yes, I prefer my cowboy boots over high heels, sorry!)
Married for 11 years to my best friend (the cowboy/farm boy swept me off my feet)
Sci-fy/Fantasy/Romance/Short story writer, If I can think it up, it can happen.
Addicted to natural healing and herbs.

Animal lover, their my family. 3 little dogs (Colby, Max and Princess) because she thinks she is royalty. Melody is our cat, she's amazing, cuddles, ohh! and very sassy like me.
Sorry, but I only speak English. Minor German but, take it easy its been years. Tiny bit of Spanish, about enough to say "You Crazy".

Favorite Things to Share:

Isn't it obvious? Writing, of course. Short stories. Inspirational stories. Motivational tips. I, even, like to dabble in cryptocurrency and how the online world will change the future forever. Although, if you ask me, Entrepreneurs will be taking over the world before long.

Some of MY favorite things:

Reading and Writing: I can curl up to a good book any day of the week. Currently, I am addicted to Jane Austin probably because she was one of the best authors in the 1800's. Then, there is current, and up in coming writers like Vampire Girl (wow!). Outdoors: Fishing is a must or, I am one cranky country girl. Now, given it is Summer time here, gardening has consumed me. I grow and can all our fresh veggies during the summer. Yes, hard work and it NEVER ends. Who ever said being an adult was fun, gave you a bunch of cow crap.

Painting: Give me some oil paints and a canvas or wall and I'll dream up something EPIC. Currently, I'm working on a large mural in our home featuring a family of horses which of course, represents our little family. Painting is just my way to relax.

Shows/Movies: Right now, we have become addicted to Shadow Hunters. It's quite good. Wildfire is also, a must. Roswell because I love the sci-fy. Twilight (I'm a girl after all!) Fast and the Furious is killer epic. Although, F8 I did not see that coming. True Stories are awesome. Buffy the Vampire Hunter, Angel, etc. The list could go on a mile long so, I'll spare you the boring deets on it.
Other: I'm not big on comedy, or anything in horror. I'm a what you see is what you get kind of person. I value honesty and integrity over anything else. Family is a must. Learning from your mistakes, growing from who you are to who you want to be. I never stop learning or expanding my knowledge. After all, no one can be too smart.

Music: That's conflicting. I'll listen to anything but, straight up rap. Country, Classic Rock especially the 80's and 90's, new alternative music, you name it.

Conclusion:

I like to live on the edge, take things as they come, be unique. Basically, life is a journey we might as well have fun with it. Ordinary is boring and never stands out. I live for the weird and unthinkable. I love meeting new people and learning about different cultures. It really fascinate me. I'm honest to a fault. Sometimes blunt and a whole lot of sassy. Happy to be here.
