Almost sounds like a 'first-liner' at an AA meeting - surely one might consider it a kind of addiction, perhaps it's not a too distant feeling from 'passion' and 'enthusiasm' as one might also concludeHolding a grudge is letting someone live rent-free in your head.
Not really sure what you mean here, as in how it related to the quoted text. I was highlighting the subjective difference in perspective to what is essentially 'motivation'.
