Hello Steemit. Good to Meet You All.

Hello all. Let me introduce myself.
This is me.

(This ones 4 or 5 years old now. I dont have a lot of pictures of me because Im always the one with the camra.)

I am a real person. If I were going to impersonate someone on social media, I would pick someone a lot more interesting than me.

I live here.

I discovered Steemit in June, and loved the concept of the more appreciated work rising to the top through the curation of the users, I signed right up to check it out. I hadn't been impressed with social media since MySpace.
This was me on MySpace

I took that photo myself at the Cedar Creek State Park in '09 on my Kodak Easy Share. I still have my coffee pot.
I don't think that account even exists anymore.
I loved the pop-out music player, and Farm Town.
They quickly went to shit, so I hoped on over to Facebook where all my friends had been for a long time already.

I took that photo too, and still have my Jim Dandy as well, I think it was 2012.
Facebook was awful from day one. But at least they had Farm Town. My games all got too big to keep up with so I gave up on social media all together and just use text messages and calls on my phone. I do still have a couple friends that log into my Facebook account on my computer, to like all of their own posts....??? I don't get that, but I also don't care.
I guess I'll need to be more defensive of this account since it would actually have an effect.

I did get a Twitter last year during the elections because I thought that was hilarious, but then I never used it again. I have never Tweeted a single tweet, and don't use any of the other sites.

I appreciate all the original photography here.
I have always liked taking photos of odd things.

Even when I was a kid and had to take all my 110 rolls to the drugstore and wait a week to see if any turned out.
I got really good at making ghosts in the photos to freak out the other kids when they'd stay the night and I could show them all the ghosts caught in my house.
I also started smoking way too young. But I got great ghost photos.

I dont do a lot of posting. Im not a blogger.
I spend almost all my time on my kids.

But, thats because my kids are the best kids ever.

Oh, and my husbands not bad either.

I will be doing more reading, curating, and commenting than blogging on here, But I'm sure things will pop up from time to time that inspire me. It's taken me half the year to do the introductory post. A few ideas have popped in and outta my head for posts here, but I always thought "But I'm supposed to introduce myself first." Then the moment would pass. Now that I've went on about this site to people I know untill they want to join too, I figured I had better get my introduction done first if I would like to introduce my friends and family to the site.

Me.
Im a coffee addict. Its a thing. I enjoy it.
I like mud tires and crappy old country music that you never hear anymore.
Im more conservative than any of my friends my own age. Its not a popular position any more from what I can tell. But we dont argue about things like that. We all seem to enjoy poking fun at each others beliefs and nobody gets hateful about things like you see so much of any more on news and social media.
I like to garden. If you look behind the rose of sharon, you can pick out the cabbage. That particular cabbage was my oldest sons cabbage. I like to grow pepper plants, but dont much like eating peppers. They're just so colorful and shiny when they grow. Plus they fill up a bushel box fast when you pick them and they dont weigh nothing hauling and stacking the boxes.
I like wooden things and metal things. I think plastic looks sad;
And drywall smells bad.
And 'Im gonna quit before I laps into some hilarious, and bad poetry.
But, I think that's pretty much me in a nutshell.
(Wish it was fall and the chestnuts were down. I think I could make a pretty neat picture for that.)

And, that's my introductory post.

Welcome!!!

Thanks.
I remember your introductory post.
Now ya get a look at my shack.

Cooool. But i think my shack is more shacktastic. Hahah

Nice family.

Thank you. I think they're great.
But I a little biased.

Welcome to steemit! I've been here a month and am thoroughly enjoying the community spirit here :) Cheers!

Thank you. I do to.
I been here half a year now. I guess I'm just not much of a blogger. I just hang around mostly in the comments. I got some friends and family wanting to join and waiting for approval. I figured I shouldn't be introducing my friends and family if I haven't even introduced myself yet.
Then I wrote another article any way. Maybe I'll become a blogger. I like it here much more than any of the other places I've seen.

Now I get it! I do a lot of commenting too. I've spent hours on a blog then not much traffic visiting it :) , so I like to comment instead!

Welcome to the steemit community ;)

Thank you.
This place looks like fun.

Thank You.

Hey @brandylynne, well done for your first post, I know it takes a while to take the first step, but once you've done it, things are getting easier.. I suppose! I really love your flowers and your kids look awesome. Let's stay connected. I wish you a productive and inspiring journey on steemit!

Well thank you.
I will be watching for your posts.
It took me 6 months to get that 1st one out, but I think the next one would come easier. For sure.
Good luck to you too.

very cute kids. Love how your pumpkins are growing up a tree, gives more space to grow other things. lol!

Thanks. The pumpkin field was behind where I stood to take the photo. That pumpkin vine just had other ideas.
