castleirwell: My self-introduction post

Hi,
First of all, I would like to thank Steemit for accepting me as a new member.
I chose my Steemit nickname, i.e. “castleirwell”, because that was the name of the student halls of the university that I attended in my youth, that was when I studied Economics at the University of Salford, Manchester, UK. Both good and bad memories from that place, but as the time goes on, all memories tend to show themselves in a golden light, although I didn’t finally manage to finish my degree.
I’ve had many diverse jobs in my life, as a cleaner, farm worker, factory operative, insurance advisor, restaurant waiter, hotel employee, and many more, which I have started to forget; all this, in an effort to earn a living, in any possible (legal) way. Currently, I am a freelance translator, and an aspiring blogger, with the ambition to earn a decent living from online writing.
I hope I will enjoy Steemit, since it seems to be a place where plenty of interaction takes place with other members.
I also believe that I can contribute to the information mining process, and benefit from it as well.
