The rat race: is there a way out?

Experience or credentials? I chose the latter.

Chasing the former led me to work at Chase Bank as a personal banker.

I would always refund my customers the maximum amount of fees I could whenever I saw that they were being taken advantage of by the corporation due to their (lack of) financial situation.

Making roughly $15/hr. plus some small commissions, I watched as more senior bankers earned around 40-50k/yr. (USD) after working for the bank for 10+ years. If I really worked hard (kissing ass), I could work in the private wealth management division, have my own "office", and after about 5 years build a book of clients to make roughly 70k/yr.

As time was my asset, and my bachelor's degree wasn't yet generating enough of a return on investment, I decided to pursue a Master's rather than continue with the 9-to-5 job.

I was impatient and the pendulum of my trajectory swung back from experience to education, again.

Now that I'm almost finished with the postgraduate program, and I'm drowning in student loan and credit card debt, I can only believe that the right strategic actions will, at some point, cause my negative net worth to reverse and this will all just seem like a very bad dream.

Only I am responsible for this dilemma, but right now there doesn't seem to be a way out. So, it seems like the next step is, even more, doubling down on the status quo.

Hopefully, law school will eventually provide the opportunity to be where I want to be: free and independent.

It seems like the only way to escape the system is to find a way through it.

That's why cryptocurrency is so fascinating to me.

Maybe, there is a hack...
