SteemIt is a genuinely interesting concept in crypto IMO, but seems also to be revolving alot about just that, or maybe I'm just looking in the wrong places...

But I feel we need to get back to some of the core principles behind crypto, and remember why the first movers got into this in the first place...

Gains are nice - but freedom is better :)
