My very first post on Steemit !

Introduction to Steemit family


Hello everyone, My name is Arslan Tayyab. I am 21 years old and by profession I am a business man and self development trainer.

This is my very first post on Steemit. I have joined Steemit few days ago and was influenced by a good friend of mine @frstwalket who makes posts and blogs about programming and stuff.

My Origin :-

My origin is Sialkot. It is a well known city of Pakistan which is very famous for producing and exporting sports equipment.

This city is home to many internationally known sports brands such as HS sports, CA sports and Saga sports.

My interests :-

I am very interested in Book reading. I have spent a lot of time reading books. I just love to read. Reading is not just my hobby its my passion . My hobby of reading is not just limited to reading books, I also love to read informative and thought provoking articles. That is the main reason which convinced me to join the Steemit family.

Someone said, A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies. Indeed this is true because book reading makes us travel to some other dimension.

Games I play :-

I love to play cricket and I indeed am a very good cricket player. I am playing cricket since when I was a kid.

I also like to play some online games such as PUBG but I prefer to spend more time playing outdoor games because they make our mind and body healthy.

My motive to join Steemit :-

I plan to write mind training and thought provoking articles on Steemit. I think that people should spend more time feeding their thoughts and brain and be emotionally and mentally so strong that no setback can hurt them.

Things I love :-

I love working out. I make sure to workout at least 3 days a week. It helps me feel more motivated, Energetic and focused.

In foods I love to eat biryani which is pretty much a specialty of Pakistan. If you ever visit Pakistan, Make sure to eat it :P.

This is the end of my very first post. I hope that my contribution on Steemit will help someone and people will like what I post. I promise to spend more times creating good and worth reading content. Make sure to follow me because a lot more is coming.

    Hello dim3nsions! Welcome to Steemit! Hope you'll like the community here. As a start, here are 5 tips that we believe will be helpful to you:

    1. Keep your passwords safe: Unlike conventional sites, Steemit has 4 types of passwords. Each offers varying degrees of access to your account, so know where and when to use each of them. Also, make sure to keep them all safe and secure.
    2. Get Steem rewards: When writing a post, you'll have the option to choose how to receive your reward: "Default 50%/50%" or "Power Up 100%". As of this moment, choosing Default 50%/50% is the better option. But this can change over time. Check our post to know more.
    3. Upvote wisely: When upvoting, wait at least 30 minutes after the post is published to maximize your curation reward. Also, make sure not to upvote too much too fast so as not to drain your voting power.
    4. Know your Steem, Steem Dollars and Steem Power: Steem and Steem Dollars are the 2 main currencies here. Convert and power up more Steem into Steem Power so you can have higher values on your upvotes.

    Welcome nice to have you here , maybe you are lucky to be joining when steem is at a really low price . When price is low less people are posting and you have a better chance to earn steem . I highly recommend you post a lot and keep on posting . Till you get to at least 15 Steem Power. Don’t give up . I don’t recommend you buy Steem Power but I do recommend you post often till you get to 15 Steem Power. If you can not post go ahead and make sure to vote at least 6 times when you wake up and 4 times when you are going to bed. Don’t forget to get all your friends to do the same! I repeat I would never tell someone to buy 15 steem but honestly for 95% of the people here will only get to 15 if the buy them ! It’s up to you Good Luck with the choice you make
