I am Ed Layne. I have a large number of interests including music, alternative energy, self-reliance, and economic freedom.
Regarding music, I write and record material here in my small home studio. The era of Rock from the 60s to the 80s has been the largest influence on my writing and playing style. If you are so inclined, I am happy to provide the link where you may find some of the material I've released. Love it or hate it, I would to thank you in advance for any time you spend there. I realize time is our most precious resource, so I hope that you will not find it a waste of yours.
As for alternative energy and self-reliance, I have recently renewed my interest and efforts (taking over a year's hiatus from the studio) in gradually detaching from the electric grid via DIY solar projects and learning to produce more of my own food in the limited space I have available.
On the subject of economic freedom, I've always had the sense that something was wrong with the world as we know it, but couldn't quite explain it. I still can't explain it with the articulation that others have, so I've also invested some time in the last year during my break from music to learn as much as possible and pass it along when appropriate and when people I encounter are receptive.
I am glad to be here and looking forward to exploring and helping to promote the vast amount of talent and ideas that I've just scratched the surface of on Steemit. I'm hoping to contribute as much as possible as often as I can to the community. Thank you all!
