PRESENTATION CRUZ DE MAYO

Hello steemit family, today I want to show you a dance presentation referring to the May cross, this dance has a very big meaning for me, this is part of my #introduceyourself next to what was my dance academy.
the May cross is a tradition of Venezuelan culture, every Saturday of May in private houses, where special altars are prepared for the cross, in most sectors of the country it is customary to wear the cross, to adorn it, Mount it on an altar and light it.

The main reason for this celebration in Venezuela and other countries of the world, is to pay tribute to Nature for being the start of the harvest season in May, and it is linked to nature by the fact that the rainy season begins .

The costumes are made by the representatives of all the students, and each of us made up for that act, it was very beautiful to present that, and the best thing is that we had a lot of fun rehearsing every day, striving every afternoon to give us a result beautiful for all the girls that we were dancing. Maybe it has not been the best, nor is it the best dance, but at that time and for the people who attended the gala they loved it.

We spent almost a month rushing and practicing every day from very early, the day of the presentation a few minutes of introducing us we were difficult certain things, like the skirts that had not reached the theater, and when they reached the majority we were like 10 cm longer, so many of us were afraid of falling thanks to God, it was not like that, during the presentation we did not think about making mistakes, it was to follow the steps well, we only enjoyed what we were doing, and so we went wrong, we left everything in that theater and we DANCED!
