Neuroscience is amazing, many unexplained phenomenon can be explained by neuroscience for example a light in the night sky that when you look directly at it disappears, this is due to less rods in the fovea. Rods sense light and contrast, the peripherals with higher density of rods can sense the light while the fovea cannot.
