Let me welcome you to my brand new steemit page about graffiti and street art. Within this feed I want to pick out different artistic and social aspects of urban art on the basis of short texts, pictures and reading diaries. Also, I want to give you an impression about two graffiti projects (called KolorCubes and Raum für urbane Experimente) in which I am involved and that take place in my hometown Kassel, Germany. My main goal is to create a little more understanding for graffiti as a special and proportional young art form with fascinating peculiarities.

Herzlich willkommen auf meiner brandneuen Steemit-Seite zum Thema Graffiti und Streetart. Hier möchte ich anhand kurzer Texte, Fotos und einem Lesetagebuch verschiedene künstlerische und soziale Eigenarten von urbaner Kunst thematisieren und sammeln. Ebenfalls möchte ich einen Einblick in zwei Kasseler Graffitiprojekte geben, an denen ich selbst beteiligt bin (KolorCubes und Raum für urbane Experimente). As a visual kickoff I want to start with a picture of a mural made by the WENU crew, which we realized within our project KolorCubes here in Kassel in October last year. It always reminds me of hidden object books or the famous Where is Wally? books at whose pages you can look at for minutes and still find something new somewhere. With a closer look like that I want to focus the phenomenona graffiti and street art in general within this blog.

Den visuellen Einstieg in den Blog möchte ich mit einem Foto einer Wandgestaltung der WENU-Crew machen, welche im Oktober letzten Jahres in Kassel im Rahmen unseres Projektes KolorCubes umgesetzt wurde. Das Bild erinnert mich immer etwas an Wimmelbilderbücher oder die bekannten "Wo-Ist-Walter?"-Bücher, auf deren Seiten man auch nach mehreren Minuten immer noch etwas Neues entdecken kann. Einen solchen Blick auf die kleinen Details möchte ich in diesem Blog für Graffiti und Streetart insgesamt verfolgen.
