Yeah, I completely agree. Yes, the only downside I can think of is steemit not being ready for the user influx.
An article I read said SteemIt can already handle more posts and votes than Reddit being they built it to handle a load.
Oh, that is actually impressive but I actually wasn't talking about that. I was actually talking about the economics of steemit and the weaknesses of the flag for biased opinionated business owners/celebrities users who can become whales overnight.
