I have a strong mixed feelings about UN at the moment. UN is a toothless bulldog, a gathering of advisers, because to advise is not to decide, no outstanding arm/army/organ to enforce its resolutions. The battle for the soul of Jerusalem may unleash further irrecoverable wound to UN.
you are right, the work of the UN is not perfect. But it's good that humanity, makes efforts for unified efforts. I would like to work in the UN. service is a good meaning of life.
