(Introductory Post #3) Life is art.

Welcome to my third Introductory Post!

My name is Samuel.
This series is meant to provide my audience with a glimpse of who I am, what I enjoy, and what my aspirations are for my life and Steemit. This helps you connect with me, and hopefully create the opportunity for us to become friends, as well as help each-other succeed on this wonderful platform.

To catch up, here are the previous posts of this series.👇

Again, Welcome!

In this post I will be talking about more about one of my greatest passions, art.

Humanities's form of self expression, and outlet for creativity and emotion.

Throughout my life, I have come across many different forms of art, music, painting, drawing, knitting, or carving are a few good examples. I've learned to see the beauty in each of them, and though I am not personally proficient in any of them but music, I have found it still to be an enjoyable experience to just, create.

To put the paint on the end of my brush and move it around to create an array of colors that seem beautiful to my eye (atleast, that is what I shoot for.) No matter what, the experience is always satisfying and enjoyable.

But for myself, I love music (as I talked about a little in my first post) and I have been playing and creating music since I was three. I started with the hand drum (djembe) which I played in many different settings, both solo and with bands. Then I moved on, I started playing the piano when I was 14, I took lessons for about a year, and then continued to self teach myself. I have now played in many different settings, both in bands and solo. Then, about two years ago, I picked up the guitar, and never took lessons, but taught myself with youtube videos and playing by ear.

Trough this I have gained the opportunity to both express myself and my emotions, and also being able to put the stress of life to side for a moment and get lost in the music. It has taught me many things, patience, self-motivation, trust, love, and even self-confidence (which has always been difficult for me.)

Music, and all art, has become a huge part of my life, and without it I would be lost. It gives me something to come back to in any moment and is an outlet for the emotions I feel throughout my day. I love that it is never the same and changes depending on my circumstances in each present moment.

That concludes my post for today, but stay tuned for my next one!

If you did, I would greatly appreciate it if you comment, follow, upvote, or maybe even repost if you feel so inclined. Thank you all for your support, it means so much.

Until next time,

We are excited to see you join us here! Steemit is a remarkable platform that is built to reward users for creating quality content. Its a logic called proof of brain.

As for TechChat, think of us as DJs that create tech content instead of music. We create content by looking for the most shocking, interesting, and exciting breakthroughs in the tech space. Basically - we do all the research so you don't have to.

We hope to hear your opinion on TechChat’s content! We always love to hear from our community.

Happy Steeming 🚀

Thank you for your comment! I will look into your content for sure! :) Would you be willing to do the same for mine? Either way, thank you and have a nice day.

Hello, @insatiabledreams , and Welcome to Steemit.

Below are a few basic points of advice re posting on Steemit.
1 – Longer posts are more lucrative than short posts. If you make a post of 20–30 paragraphs, it's more likely to earn rewards.
2 – Include some photos, images or graphs, to complement the text.
3 – Make sure the text and photos are formatted properly, so that your post looks attractive and appealing.
4 – Be yourself.
5 – Be interesting and informative.
6 – Create quality content. Steemit is intended to be a platform of quality content. (You will see many insignificant posts with meager content and no quality. Most of those of posts [called “shitposts” by Steemit whale Stellabelle] will earn few rewards and soon pass into oblivion.)
7 – Get online and start curating. Read various posts, comment on those posts you find interesting, and upvote those posts. That’s the best way to attract followers.

Hope this helps for now. Good luck, and Full Steem Ahead!

Thank you very much! I will take these into consideration for sure! :)

You sound like a splendid chap Sam.
I wish you all the best on your journey through Steemit.
Get sharing your art and music brother :)
Yeeow.

Thank you very much!
