Hey @finnian thanks heaps for the lengthy reply! I was in NSW but moved to QLD Australia, ill have to make use of the chat will probably be the easiest way to make some new friends. At the moment i don't use many other social media sites other than the obvious facebook but saw this site to be a great start for me to blog / start creating content so ill have to set up some accounts else where and just post throughout them all trying to lead any followers back to here which will hopefully be my new main platform.

Verifying through your existing Facebook works. :) Don't over do the self-voting too by the way. It is frowned upon in replies especially. I rarely ever self-vote to avoid that issue entirely. Your votes are how the daily crypto is distributed. The more Steem Power a person has, the more of the crypto being given out they control. When you upvote therefore, you're giving it out to yourself. People who do that a lot are usually heavily ridiculed.
