Introducing myself

Hello steemians!
I am Kasumu Saheed. I just joined this community, and it will be an honour to introduce myself to fellow steeminans.

I am an undergraduate at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria studying Medical laboratory Science(MLS). I am Nigerian from Osun State, and my username "learnandteach" depicts I love to learn and would love to share whatever I've learnt with the world. My journey into the medical world began when I started to help sick relatives when others would run away and decided to choose MLS to diagnose diseases and research cures for diseases. I love to cycle and maybe someday partake in the Tour de France. I love animations, and my favourite is Naruto! I dislike the act of hoarding knowledge.

This is a picture of me in the lab, don't mind its dilapidated look. More advancement will come to it with time.

My journey to Steemit
I am a freelancer. I am a: writer (any niche but mostly academic), data entry clerk and transcriptionist (almost a jack of all trades, smiles). I try to engage myself a lot and love to learn. I started to learn python - a programming language recently. In the bid to continue to improve myself, I found steemit through a project started by africaunchained, and I have learned a lot from the project so far. We were given lectures on how steemit works and a lot on cryptocurrencies.
My Mission and Vision
I would contribute as I can to the community uphold all her regulations. I will share to all I can about the steemit community and hope to increase the growth of this community and be an awesome ambassador of the steemit. I look forward to learning, giving back to the community and connecting with creative and talented minds in the community.
I'll be posting articles of beneficial contents and stories that would educate steeminans. Thanks to africaunchained, members of the project, other Nigerian communities and everyone on this platform for their unwavering support and I say to you all, Keep the STEEM flowing!
