Hello Steemit!

in #introduceyourself8 years ago (edited)

My name is Lene. I live in Norway, southwest by the coast of the North sea, an area called Jaeren. I am grateful to be mother of two boys. We live in a small town called Bryne, my work is based mostly in a bigger city nearby called Stavanger.

I work as a personal stylist. I help people with clothes. What to wear. Based on who they are. Actually it was one of my nice customers who told me about steemit! I help people go true their wardrobe and shopping new clothes. Not to buy more then necessary, but to avoid buying stuff that never will be used.

One of my customer and me in wintertime.

I also work as a fashion stylist. For magazines, designers, newspapers, web-tv etc.

Photoshoot for a newspaper magazine called Trend. Photo: Kristian Jacobsen.  Look at the light! Sunset on Jaeren in february.

Photoshoot for a magazine BYEN, christmas edition. My son joined as a modell. Although he is only soon to be 12 years old he has a great talent also behind the camera. He has taken a lot of photos for me for me to use in for work. The woman in the photo has never before worked as a modell, she was so great. First time as a modell, 70 years old, I love it! I am a stylist who cares about sustainability in the fashion industry. As a public speaker I like to talk about what changes we need to do in the fashion industry as it is the second most pollution industry in the world... Slow fashion is the new black!

Ever since I was a little girl I had an eye for styling clothes.  I grew up in a small village southwest of Norway, but I was always innovative about testing out new trends before it became mainstream.

My formal education is a Bachelor degree in marketing communication from BI.  For about 8 years I used to work with investment in the banking industry.  In 2012  I started LENE G. It`s not science, it´s fashion. www.lenegravdal.net

On steemit I will share stories from my work, and the people I meet at work.

I will show styling tips. Here are some photos, some of them taken by my son Jonah :)

I will give some tips on sustainability living mostly about clothing.

I also like to test new recipes like smoothie, food and natural beauty care.

Like using coffee scrub as exfoliation, it works great!

In my spare time I like to run, my favorite place to run is by the sea. I love to take pictures from the lovely beaches, the sunsets and the area around at Jaeren.

The area is known for a flat landscape, and a unique light which appears when the sky meets the sea.

I am also found of hiking in the mountain, mostly in the area of Bjerkreim where my grandparents used to have a farm.

I love to take picture of nature, buildings, streetart, and I am very found of how to use the sunlight with both shadow and light to make a good picture.

I see a lot of inspiration around on steemit, it seems like people share stuff more genuine and that makes quality posts. I´m looking forward to read more posts on steemit and I hope to give some inspiration true my posts at steemit!
