From Surgery to Steemit - Greetings

Hello steemians, we are Meddy Bear - Online Medical Community for Healthcare professionals around the world.

In short words, Meddy Bear was founded on April 1st 2012 by Doctor Hanna Nawatha and the idea was to create a community for Healthcare professionals around the world, to be able to collaborate, and help each others for a better world!

Right now we have 15 enthusiastic students that share medical related informations, and because of that, our community is growing larger and larger every day. On our main Facebook page, we have 2,8M followers. We also have different pages for specific department, like Neurology, Surgery, Pharmacology etc.

Our pictures and/or videos were also mention even by a large news corporations like Huffington Post, Daily Mail Uk, Express UK, Evoke Ireland..

On the 16 December, 2015, we celebrate our 1 million likes with big party: Video

At the moment, our plan is to create one large and rich database for our followers where they can find everything related with the word "medicine". From med schools, hospitals, Events, doctors, specialists and more.. We named that: Medical Coast.
