Hello Steem-it!! I'm a Mechanical Engineering nerd who loves 3D printing!

Hey Steem-it!
Initially, I just wanted to say that I’m super pumped to be a part of this community. I’ve been following cryptocurrencies for the better part of this year, and I must say, Steem is one of the most exciting things happening in this space. It has completely changed my outlook on content creation, and has filled me with hope and direction where I was otherwise lacking.. (Instagram, Facebook, Youtube...) Anyway, continue down to see my plans for the future!

About Me
My name is Brian Michael Taylor. I have 3 first names, and that will probably be the only thing you remember about me.. but its cool, we can still be friends! I currently live in Nashville, Tennessee and I’ve been on a hiatus from school for the past year and a half, living with my parents.. soft sobbing. The reason I took time off from school, initially, was to complete a Co-op with Bridgestone. That was great, but after I got a taste of corporate life I realized I wanted to do something a little bit different... Something like starting my own business! So after finishing my Co-op I set out to start a 3D printing business in my parents house (Free rent!!)

My company/brand is @Michaeltaylordesigns and you can find out more on instagram, facebook, and now steemit! I operate and manage an Etsy store where I sell, fidget spinners. At first they were pretty cool because they were promoting 3D printing but eventually they became so gimmicky that they began to promote the idea that 3D printers can only make bullshit novelty desk toys. So now I'm at the point where I can't stand the freaking things, but I still need money to support myself. Where there is demand, I will supply... However, with the power of steemit, hopefully I can stop catering to the popular market trends, and eventually I'll be able to show the true capabilities of 3D printing without boundaries! (Seriously, these things are amazing, they're like infinite legos..)
To wrap up, I just wanted to let everyone know that I plan to use Steemit as the PRIMARY platform for which I use to post original content. I plan to become very vested in this site, and Im really excited to see where it grows! POWER UP!
