Anyone else like bike touring/camping?

Hi there,

Ironically I deleted (not disabled) my Facebook account 6 months back due to not liking the direction it was heading, so I never would've imagined I'd be on another platform so soon. It must be the blockchain. Thankfully my brother has been into this for a year and after many discussions I'm finally a believer in blockchain technology and cryptocurrency. I'm very much intrigued by the problems it intends to correct and predict this will move beyond fad classification many people ascribe to it and into becoming mainstream technology. Blockchain may soon be a household term.

As for me, I'm a pharmacist, father of 4, and love cycling. The picture is from a 3 day bike camping trip around Lake Tahoe and back home in the San Francisco Bay area. I don't race, but anytime I'm on my bike, be it taking the kids to school or out for exercise I'm happier than I'd be on the couch. I also enjoy discussions about social issues, and some politics here and there. Let's just throw in religion and now you can basically ask me anything knowing I won't be offended.

I lived in Argentina for a couple years and still speak some Spanish, or Castellano, and would love to find a place in my area that serves milanesa or asado as the Argentinians cook it.

Here's to being part of Steemit from it's early period and helping it to grow, likely with posts about cycling, bike touring, social/philosophical topics, and some random thoughts sprinkled throughout.
