I would like to introduce myself metaphysically

After several weeks on Steemit, I figured I'd finally introduce myself. But I'll do a slightly more metaphysical approach.

So, my name is Ola. I am a 27-year-old Norwegian. I am a teacher and a musician.

However, I have to admit that I am always wearing a mask. I am just pretending to be Ola, the 27-year-old Norwegian.

I am really just a bunch of atoms. I bet a lot of my atoms are similar to yours, but mine are arranged in a very particular manner. It's my personal atom arrangement.

Sometimes people tell me that most of the atoms in the body are replaced in 7-8 years, but I have memory of my own existence from more than 10 years ago, so I guess it must be the very personal way that these atoms are structured that is me.

People also tell me that these atoms only consist of 0.0001 % somethingness. Nucleus, protons, electrons, neutrons. The -tons are the somethings. But the somethings are covering something much cooler. They're covering nothingness.

Nothingness is wearing all these protons and neutrons that are calling themselves Ola. These -tons must be having the time of their lives - writing about themselves on Steemit, creating and playing music, playing soccer, reading philosophy. The atoms even get to travel sometimes, and they love to engage in imitating the local languages and accents produced by other atom arrangements from other parts of the giant atom collection that is called Earth.

Let's thank nothingness for our existence

My atoms should be really, really thankful to nothingness for allowing them to do all of this cool stuff and be part of this living organism. Because nothingness keeps them from imploding. Nothing holds everything in check. Nothingness allows the particles to be.

Nothingness must be the most allowing thing in the universe. Even though it is not a thing. It is nothing.

Nothingness would be completely naked without its mask - somethingness. They both need each other.

So, now you know who I am. But do you know who you are? According to Socrates, you should!

Do not ever think that you are anything more than 0.0001 % somethingness. Your atoms, no matter how cool they are, are mostly just nothingness in disguise. But isn't that really kinda cool?
