Hi there, newbie here. I just joined Steemit the other day and I'll be honest here, I am looking for ways to make more money. I am an artist and illustrator, and can totally relate to the old "starving artist" adage. :)

SO what I was wondering was, how do you get a post to be as valuable as this one, and would an upvote from someone who has a lot of steem be worth a lot? Sorry if this is the wrong place to be asking this, but I really don't know much about it.
