It's me, the new kid in the block

Hi fellow steemians,

I am a humble human being located in Germany, but actually interested in the whole world. Despite my desire to explore the world, cultures and people I am always thinking about why things work the way they do, where the world is heading to and what we can do to improve our surrounding conditions.

And yes, as a German I can confirm, that we don't have humour and are effecient members of the work force.

I love to discuss and talk about ideas. I am not an ideologist, but rather pragmatic, but nevertheless you need good arguments to convince me ;-)

Its the people that matter! Why do people behave this way? What makes them angry, greedy, envy? Why do they insult others sometimes? What makes us happy? What motivates us? I like to understand people and I like to analyze these questions. A huge plus is, that it makes it much easier for me to understand the reason of human actions and to imagine what their intentions might be.

Since I have a strong economic background I was always thinking about how a financial system should work, how wealth should be distributed to establish a fair system. With fair I don't mean, everybody should have the same amounts of everything, but everybody should have equal opportunities.

Combined with my profession as a software developer, Blockchain seems to be made for me. I believe blockchain has the power to make worldwide companies disappear or to bring huge parts of their value chain to the public. The centralization of power followed a centralization of wealth, which is known as the gap between the poor and the rich. It's not that the rich are the bad guys, they are rich for a reason. But nowadays in the internet economy the middle men make huge profits, because of centralizing human interactions called the walled gardens. But the profits are based on the content and engagement of their communities not the middle men themselves. So to me this seems like a big misfit in wealth distribution.

In my opinion a stable society, be it economics or politics, consists mostly of the distribution and balance of power or in other words - decentralization. This is what blockchain stands for and therefor it has a bright future ahead.
