RE: My Formal Introduction To Steemit Community
I'm following you, my husband and live in Tulsa and as soon as business here is finished, hopefully by the end of 2018, we want to move to Peru. You have written a wonderful introduction. Wishing you the best!
You want to move to Peru? Do you have any particular place in mind?
Somewhere on the outskirts of Lima, we've been talking rather seriously about moving where the cost of living won't eat up our retirement savings. We have researched how much retirement funds we need to move to Peru easily. I guess the country likes retired Americans that have a healthy savings account. I also have friends that live in the city of Lima from Europe and they love Peru. There is a very nice Dzogchen community which are students of Chogyal Namkhai Norbu, he is also one of my Buddhist teachers. http://melong.com/chogyal-namkhai-norbu-in-peru/
I grew up in on the Cascade Range of Oregon, way in the backwoods on a little hill farm with an outhouse when I was younger and iffy electricity...hahaha so South American adventures sounds like it may bring back childhood memories.
Tulsa, OK. That's right smack in the middle of bibleville. Anything in what I presented in my introductory letter grab your attention.
Your waking up to dysfunction in religious institutions corruption but that's just the institution, scaffolding, that's all...
I've woken up to that a long time ago. What I intend to present is just a summation of my thinking put down on paper a couple of years back. When I stumbled into Steemit, it seemed to be a worthwhile platform to stimulate converssation.
Steemit will be a good place to store your paper, blockchain is forever lololol
I will read your papers! My favorite Christian book is Imitation of Christ by Thomas Kempis🌀
Scaffolding! How apt!
