Before deciding to write this intro blog about myself, I always thought to myself "Hmm... What would people think if I share my stories and life with people? Will they like it? Will they hate me and think i'm a loser?" and I based my whole life around the idea that people will always reject me and any content that I have to offer, but one day, I just told myself " what's the worst thing that could happen? rejection..... so what! I'm just a random dude writing things on the web, it's not like people will come after me and ruin my social life!" and here I am... here today writing my first ever blog online. I know this might sound silly to some of you, but I really had to add this in to get this burden of my chest. I have so much to share, so many things to write about and i'm finally happy that I found it in me to actually do it. NOW... on with the REAL introduction!

My name is Amr, i'm a 16 year old Egyptian guy. When I first learned about this website, my first reaction was "This way to good to be true. A website that pays you for posting, commenting, and liking other peoples posts... This must be a scam!". I then proceeded to do more research about this site and found out it was legit and that the whole system is based on blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies! The whole idea sounded like a great platform to me. I wanted to test it out, so i posted just a few comments and steemit gave me a small reward worth around 0.3 dollars. when that happened, I was amazed! I knew I had to start posting here. I started telling all my friends about this and they wouldn't believe me, I even betted with one of my friends that i'll be able to make a few bucks of my posts here!

That's me right here! I thought this pic was a little bad looking with the background and stuff, so I tried using gimp to add a little "glow" to the background! and........ it didn't go well.

I ended up making it a little to.... "shiny" XD.

I really like playing video games, but unfortunately, I ended up selling my Xbox 360 to save up for a PC that I didn't get yet, but i'm certain i'll be able to afford it very soon. Most of the titles I play or "played" are Call of Duty, Assassins Creed, Watch Dogs, and loads of other shooters type games. I'm seriously excited about 2018 title releases, most of the upcoming games are really dope. I'm also into computers, it truly is my passion and the field I want to get into. My love for these super advanced calculators (lol) is probably the number one driving factor that pushed me to selling my console to (hopefully) get a gaming PC instead.

Generally, what I thought i'd be doing on Steem is write stories, share thoughts and ideas, post gaming videos (when I buy my PC) and loads of other things. I honestly don't have a plan yet, but I do know i'll be posting multiple content in different categories on this website. Sadly, I'll have to end this post here as it's 4 am here and I really need to sleep haha. I know this post is really rough and not well thought out, forgive me for that. I'm really new to this and I thought that writing an intro straight from my head would be great because it would make it a whole lot more transparent and honest. Please if you have any constructive criticism or points that you'd like to share with me, post them in the comments section as I would really appreciate it if you give me advise on how to be more entertaining for you guys. I really enjoined writing this and I hope you would too reading it. I'll be posting more things about myself and other things like stories, anime, game reviews and much more, but until then, I wish you all a Good Night and Good Luck. :)
