One of my older brothers told me about the Steemit comunity, and I was interest from the very begening. I'm very excited of being part of this great comunity. I have hear a lot of good things, and I hope to have oportunity to share good stories and experience.
Let me introduce myself, I'm a Civil engineering student at the "Santa Maria" University, and an english teacher at the Metropolitan University. The Civil engineering it's a field with a lot of work in my country, and in my mind I can do something good with it. I want, in a future, began changing the things here in home, maybe help to rebuilt my homeland. With a lot of work and dedication, I know we can fix this, I know we can fix anything.
Spanish is my native lenguage, but since always I studed english at the school and in home, and since I was like 12 I began paying more attention to the lenguage, and eventually I went to a english academy here in Venezuela. A few years of dedication later, and I was an english speaker. Then I went to the Metropolitan University to get a cerfication of my second lenguage, and I was so good at it, that they hire me as an english teacher at the University!

I'm also a history enthusiast, specialy the time after Napoleon and all the American Revolutions, the greats European Wars, and every big event for humankind. Since I got in high school I was very excited for all history, somehow, the history makes me feel incredible. I love to read, I love to learn and I really love to know new things.
One of the things I love the most it's the photography, look for a good angle and just take the picture, It's one of my best skills. A couple of years ago I develop this taste for photography, especially for nature and landscapes.
This is a picture of my audit, I call it "The smiling noon".
I love how the midday sun illuminates everything around me and allows me to capture this beautiful image. This picture was taken in the homeland of my family, in Monagas state. As I have always thought, an image is a memory, and with this image I remember the home, and the land that saw me grow.
Here in Venezuela we have gorgeus landscapes, so I have a lot of places to take photos with.
This one I call it, "A piece of my city".
I took it from a window on the second floor in my university, this shot I love it because I feel that captures the essence of my city, Puerto La Cruz. What can I say, I just love landscapes and nature.
This picture I call "The coin".
One day many years ago, In the "Universidad de Oriente" they built a monument to Simon Bolivar "El Libertador". This pic represente the light the Libertator bring to Venezuela, as one day he said “Las naciones marchan hacia su grandeza al mismo paso que avanza su educación”. What can be translate as "Nations march towards their greatness at the same pace that their education advances".
I wanted you to know a little of my work as a Photographer since I'm going to be posting a lot of my photos, my thinkings, of course I'll also post about historical and geographical facts. And things about my country, so you can know a little big more about this beautiful piece of land call Venezuela. I want to make a varied blog, between my life and my work, and everything I like.
It is a pleasure to present myself to you, and be able to be part of this great community.
