A friend and I have been following the crypto-craze for a little while now and he recently turned me on to Steemit. After looking it over I figured why not give it a try?

I was born and raised on the island of Oahu in the beautiful state of Hawaii. I still live here and honestly can't see living anywhere else. That isn't to say that I have no desire to travel, I do, but Hawaii is and always will be home. From my cursory browsing of Steemit I don't see a lot of Hawaii content, so maybe that is a gap I can fill until more folks from here join.

I make a living solving other peoples IT problems, and I'm quite good at it. Problem-solving is one of my primary skill sets and technology is secondary, in my line of work I actually feel like that's how it should be. You can teach a person the technology more easily than you can teach a person good problem-solving skills. This might be another area I can write about as I come across issues in my everyday work that I feel others might benefit from. Maybe I can even take requests from other Steemit users about their issues and ways they can address them.
