I happened across this article early this morning, and I almost immediately signed up for a Steemit account. I've been a follower of bitcoin and other cryptocurrency for several years now, but I'm intrigued and perplexed by a platform that essentially combines cryptocurrency with social media.

So, with that stated, does anyone care to comment with their "words of wisdom" in regards to Steemit?
