Hello Steem!

Let me introduce myself and what I'll be posting here.

First off, I'm an American ex-pat living abroad in Ireland, currently in my last year of medical school. I've lived a lot of places, all over the East Coast, Beijing, Dublin, but I consider myself a New Yorker, as it was my first home. I've done a few things, I have bachelor's degrees in Neuro, Linguistics, I've got a minor in Chemistry, I'm working on my medical degree at the moment, and I'm currently angling for a PhD. But beyond that, I like variety. I like video games, I like reading, I like kite surfing, I like seeing street art. I do martial arts, I do Beat Saber competitions, I did blacksmithing, I like making sculpture. I listen to punk rock, rebop, synthwave, and I'm an expert in Space Jam mash-ups. I'm always interested in trying new things, finding new experiences and that's what this blog is going to represent.

I'll be posting either about my experiences and what they made me think about or I'll post about ideas I have from things I've read, played, seen, or gone to. Things like book reviews, game reviews, thoughts on the latest neuro research, anything new I try, trends in modern media, stuff in Virtual Reality, and who knows what else. I can't guarantee anything specific, but if you find variety blogs interesting, hopefully you'll enjoy my posts.
