My Introduction.... Hello Steemit!

Hi! I'm Michael, and I'm from the great state of Texas!.. I just stumbled upon Steemit last night, what a great idea!

I'm a wine specialist at an independent wine shop, and I have an absolute passion for viticulture and wine. I am very blessed at my job, and get to taste the best wines from around the world every day. I will happily post tasting notes on some of my favorites throughout the week.

Outside of work, my interests are vast. I love collecting old vinyl records. I'm really into jazz and old blues. Of course, being a Texan, I am a lover of Western music as well. I am well read and keep up with the financial markets daily. I trade the stock market, and love to buy and sell precious metals in my area. I am very financially conservative, and believe that the best thing you can do for yourself is plan for your future. No one will take better care of you than yourself. I try to encourage my family and friends to invest and save as much as possible. My most favorite thing to do is travel, but I haven't taken a trip in a coupke of years. I do feel a vacation coming up, maybe I'll take a trip this summer.

Anyway, this is just a brief introduction. I am very excited to be a part of this early on, and can't wait to watch Steemit grow!
