Introducing Myself: A mother-daughter duo

Hello dear steemians.

I’d actually rather address you all as revolutionaries because what’s happening on this platform is nothing short of revolution, some would call it a miraculous invention. Never before have people felt more appreciated on any of the platforms. It’s not just a post and share situation, it is a lifestyle. Steemit pushes you to add quality to your content, its such a family like community it amazes me every time I think about it.

Most of you know me as @things on steemit too.

The reason I created this account is of dual nature:

1. I needed this account as a way for me to use Steepshot ( A wonderful app, if you haven't already then go check it out! It is like Instagram, only you get something out of sharing instead of just likes) without cluttering my main account where I like to only write. I want to share moments of my life through this account, places I go, food that amazed me, people and things that mean something to me. So basically just stills and snaps of all kinds of things.

2. And this was the main reason. I created this account to be a way for my mother to have an outlet. Lately she has been going through some tough time and I really think this platform is exactly what she needs. She barely ever leaves the house so I guess this will be sort of a connection for her, with the outside world. Since she doesn’t speak any English at all, I am helping her post with this account. Mostly I’ll just be a translator for anything she writes.

Well, those were my reasons. I hope she gets the same love and support as I did. She is currently working on a project which we will soon post here.
