I'm Back!
That's Right Baby, I'm Back!
It's been a while dear steemians. Almost 6 months now since my last post.
I have to say I couldn't be happier in life at the moment. Things are finally coming together it seems.
The health
As some of you may know I was having some serious health issues over the past 4-5 years. Things have really cleared up in the past year and am no longer on dreaded and debilitating medication. I was cleared to go back to work at the start of January this year which is one of the main reasons I have not been around so much lately.
The living situation
The shift back to work has been a bit of challenge because of my commute, I moved out of town in with my girlfriend while I was off work to save some cash with lower rent and to raise my son while I was no longer able to perform my job adequately.
This lead to a long drive to work when I got back with some days taking 3 hours( during bad winter weather). It was unsustainable with the time and money I was spending on driving everyday so we began the search for a house closer to work.
After 4 months of searching (and about 6 different offers we didn't get) we finally about a month ago found a suitable place. Fast forward two weeks and it was possession date from there we are now all moved in and virtually unpacked.

The Future
Since I now have a little more time on my hands with shorter commutes and no more house hunting I am looking forward to spending a little more time on steem helping build Canna-Curate and the platform in general. I also have begun 3d drafting my new place(pictured above) to plan some renos and will get back into my FreeCodeCamp education.
I feel like blockchain and crypto are finally getting the world stage recognition they deserve so the next 12 months will be extremely exciting with Facebook's coin, China's sovereign coin and the bitcoin halving, we are sure to see some serious crypto adoption coming.

It's good to hear that you're settling into a new place. That's always fun! And your health being back on track, that's incredible. My health is a disaster in several ways right now (still falling from my Grandma's death and eviction from her home by the rest of the family, then being homeless). But still alive, still got hope. :)
And you're right, the next year should be pretty exciting for us.
Thanks for the welcome back @DRutter! Hows the new scenery of the interior treating ya. Man, the downward spiral of bad health and depression is hard to get out of, I eish you the best and hope you can try to look at the positives to help push you through. Let me know if theres anything I can do to help bro!
Danks, fam. My mood's pretty good, but I admit that the constant pain and other symptoms are always trying to change that.
The Okanagan's great. I'll have a baby here, in a few weeks! Excited about the outdoor gardening I'll be doing next year. But also, I want something smaller, indoors, over the winter/spring. I would really love to try another batch of Steem OG! I have some traders, if you're looking for MKUltra I have some great genetics, and a couple others. Gardening/activism really keeps me positive and active.
Congrats on the little one! I do have some more seeds for sure. Bred about 30 or so from the last ones. Just let me know when ya need them and dm me the address to send to.
Would you set aside a few for me? I have to be taking care of my wife (and soon, baby) right now but don't want to miss out on those great genetics. I'd be thrilled to do a trade in a few weeks if that works out for you. Won't be around much till then.

@MediKatie and I are still living in Van, awaiting the baby. Estimated arrival date is currently 1-3 weeks. We're unable to leave each others' side (doctors orders), and both of us are somewhat crippled to varying degrees at the moment, so it's an adventure. Ordering a lot of Thai delivery, haha. Anyway, no major news yet. Hope all is still well with you :)
