My Intro: Lyfo pursues Crypto

Yes, that's a chihuahua in my vest pocket. Shiva was abandoned and picked up off of the not-so-mean streets of suburban Miami. He was a great companion for 11 years. Being a Red-neck Mex he bit the first 8 people who tried to pick him up, myself included. In the photo we were strolling in the Everglades, on a winter's day, after his feet got tired.

What about me?
I must admit I was born in the first half of the 20th Century, hailing from a small town in the Great Lakes area of the northern USA. I clearly remember the 1950’s, the 60’s - yea, the 70’s - boo, the 80’s, the 90’s, the 0h-0h’s, yes and the 20-somethings. But I’m not your grandfather, I’m just another reflection of yourself and vice-versa.

So I’ve had a long time to pursue my interests, hobbies and enthusiasms, deal with the necessities, requirements and obligations as well as face the vicissitudes, set backs and adversities of a normal life. Life is certainly what happens as you were attempting to do something else. The bad news is that even being very fortunate in so many ways, there is always lots of adversity in this world. The good news is that you will benefit as much, and probably even more, from what you don’t like, as from what you do. The really big secret then is to know you are benefitting from both and accept the present as a gift.

So I plan to share those thoughts, ideas, articles and trends that resonate with me and see what gains traction here and what does not. Experience has taught me to always aim high in regard to one’s personal ideals and Spiritual goals and to meanwhile maintain practical matters by tirelessly carrying water, working, cleaning, exercising, feeding and so on in daily life.

Of interest to me are Yoga-Vedanta and Ayurveda, nature’s laws of health and sound living, true liberalism especially in free-market economics and sound money. It so happens that tropical fruit culture, the Spanish language and Latin America are my reportorial beats.

My self assessment in a nutshell: hinduistic-libertarian -- no CAPS; catholic and liberal to the max by which I mean universal and broad-minded.
