Introduction to photography

Along with the development of optical tools, the camera became increasingly developed and diverse kinds. The development of increasingly diverse camera types makes a community of Photography Enthusiasts, people who like the activities of photographing an object that contains an art.

Well, here will be discussed about the definition of photography and its details.

The word photography comes from the word photo which means light and graph which means image. So photography can be interpreted to draw / paint with light.

In fine arts, photography is the process of making paintings using light media. As a general term, photography means a process or method for producing images or photographs of an object by recording the reflection of light that is on the object on a light-sensitive medium. The most popular tool to capture this light is the camera.

The principle of photography is to focus light with the aid of refraction so as to burn the light catcher medium. Medium that has been burned to the right luminous light size will hook the image identical to the light entering the refracting medium (hereinafter referred to as the lens).

To produce the right size of light to produce a shadow, the aid of lightmeter appliance is used. After getting the right size of light, a photographer can adjust the light by adjusting the ASA (ISO speed), aperture (diaphragm), and the use of filters.

Maybe because of this new introduction, my entry post is not too long. Will be discussed about further photography on the next entries.
