Lovely! it may take me a while to get to discord .... or is this post already showing up on discord? I think I saw something that suggested that discord was tied in to steemit?
No, they're not the same, but they're often used in conjunction. There's a bot on discord called @ginabot that a lot of people use for steemit notifications. And there's a lot of groups on there that are steem based. @ghscollective is a prime example of a homesteading group on discord that's Steem based.
