short introduction...

I'm a 31 year old holder of a Bulgarian passport.

Lived a number of years across a number of countries and variety of jobs (Czech, Israel, etc.) - engaged to my Taiwanese love, and located in Cambodia right now, trying to find my way and set myself up in this part of the world for the long haul.

My interests and passions have varied in nature and intensity (to borderline obsessions) throughout my life, but it must be noted that living for prolonged periods of time in different places and countries and among other climates, cultures and historicities has played a fundamental role in shaping and enriching my world view and how I understand events and reasons behind things.

I've become particularly fascinated by how places and cities can constitute a living, breathing entity in themselves. Having their own metabolic pace and layers of encoded history (i.e., the manner in which cities like Jerusalem are their own jurisdiction, attracting particular things in their orbits, constituting phenomena/effects as is the well documented Jerusalem Syndrome, since early Medieval times...)

I've recently become especially attracted to Ethereum and the idea of Turing complete decentralized applications and structures within a virtual ecosystem of such nature (and believe this is the general direction of where the future is headed, simply because the future doesn't seem to have much of a choice). Am trying to properly organize my finances, time and routine as to be able to learn more about Solidity - the object-oriented language for 'smart contracts'.

Recently relocated in Cambodia (my girlfriend being away for a month) - without a precise plan or exact idea what to do or what to expect. Am still digesting much of what I've seen and experienced so far - as it is quite like nothing else I have. A country whose half population is younger than 25, largely unregulated if not plain lawless (but a lot of 'unwritten rules'; lack of education, though Buddhist upbringing, etc.) Seems to me like a darker kind of India - which made even more sense after learning that Cambodia had been mostly Shiva worshipping territory, before Buddhism took hold and slowly spread.

Often wish I had a few lifetimes to explore the world. One to just learn all the languages. :)
