My Steemit Story: An Introduction.
Have you ever wondered how people come to join these communities and what inspires them to want to be a part of something as big as steemit.com. I first came across steem after I began looking into what cryptocurrencies out there on the market were on the verge of becoming "the next big thing". I did this in two ways: First I searched google and specifically the coinmarketcap.com website and then I searched YouTube for helpful videos, tips, and advice uploaded by various individuals and members of the cryptocurrency community all around the world.
My introduction to steem came by way of Jerry Banfield and his YouTube channel. It was during his "My Top 10 Cryptocurrency Mistakes" video where I received my first brief introduction to steem. Thank you @JerryBanfield :D

After that I was hooked and wanted to learn more about steemit and the steem "coin" itself. I have officially decided to invest my time and currency into this community. I look forward to many more experiences and opportunities on the steemit platform.
