WHAT IS HTML?
HTML is a markup language for decribing web document(web page). Document in HTML are described by what is know as HTML tags e.g html tags here html tags are keywords inside angle brackets. this tags are two the opening and closing tags html tag here content html tag here the first one is the opening tag and the second one is the closing tag but note in the closing tag always put a slash before the tag name if you noticed in the example above there is a slash in the closing tag before the tag name.
HTML stand for Hyper Text Markup Language

FIRST WHAT CAN HTML DO?
With html you create your own site

Now you know what htm tags are lets look at the basic tags to get started.

Doctype this defines the document type to be in html and as it helps the browser to display a web page correctly. All case are aceptable capital or small case.

Html This define the text in it as Html document.
Head This define the text inbetween as head
Title This define the text inbetween as title
Body This define the text inbetween as body
h1 This define the text inbetween as heading
P This define the text inbetween as paragraph
Remember to put you angle bracket before the opening and the closing tag and also tge slash before the closing tag
