Hello everyone.
I'm Walter Ogboka, an undergraduate mechanical engineer and fashion designer currently based in Port-Harcourt Nigeria. I'm in my early 20s.

I heard about steemit from a friend in school who encouraged me to join and try and make the community a better place in my own special little way. I am super excited to be one of you Steemers and I look forward to meeting new people that will impact and improve my experience hereon.

••FAMILY LIFE••

I am the last in a family of 8 (including my mum and dad). I have three sisters (Joy, Esther and Dorothy) and two brothers (Andrew and Lucky). I have 3 nieces (Marvellous, Ada and Precious) and 4 nephews (Wisdom, David, Chioduye and Williams). My dad (God rest his soul) was married to my mum until his very last day in this world.

••ACADEMIC LIFE••

I am final year student of the department of mechanical engineering in the University of Port-Harcourt, Nigeria.

A bunch of crazy but extremely smart set of people who can instinctively fit and survive in any environment they find them self. Geniuses in their own walk of life.
So far so good, we are all looking forward to our graduation in the later part of 2018.

••FASHION DESIGNER LIFE••

I have always been cautious of my dressing. Wanting to look smart but not overly conspicuous. I started sewing(technically just mending my clothes and that of friends 😂) in 2007 (11 years ago) using my mum's old sewing machine that was given to her on her wedding day. This machine was 4 times as old as I was but I wasn't afraid of mounting it 😂. It has been a part of me even since.

I started my company "LUKA" clothing on August 24th, 2017 with the help of an old friend Nicholas Chu who tendered his immeasurable support to help me get on my feet. And operations have been smooth ever since then, thanks to friends and family who supported me from the very start.
Currently, LUKA is almost six months old with an even greater potential than I ever saw.
