Welcome to Steemit Teaching (@steemitteaching)

Who are we?

Well the "we" is my wife and I and we are educators with over 50 years combined teaching experience in the classroom. Together we have taught every grade from K-8 several times over and if time permits we would love to teach another 50 years.

What is this all about? & Why are we doing this?

The bottom line is we love teaching and are always looking for ways to do what we do better. Experience has taught us that the best way to continue to improve as educators is to share ideas, resources and tips with others (Students, Parents, Teachers and anyone who likes to learn something new).

Spoiler!

We believe, in this journey we call life, that all of us are educators and learners along the way.

We can't do this alone... #steemitteaching

We are going to need you help to grow this community of educators. We will share, share, and even share some more, but it would be awesome if you would share too. Tell all your friends and not just your teacher friends (tell everyone who likes to learn or has something in them they want to share). Together we can make this place AMAZING! We already have the best social media platform to build it on so ... really the sky is the limit.

So how can you help?

  1. Tell everyone you know (or resteem this post)
  2. use the hashtag #steemitteaching on all your education related posts (that way we can find you and resteem your posts easily). We would also like to include a link to your posts in some of our posts.
  3. Comment ... because let's face it the comments is where the good stuff lives.

Thank You for your interest and we look forward to hearing from you.

As a fresh steemian it can be hard to recieve votes so you could give Steemfollower a go. This exchange lets you earn up to 5x more steem than just upvoting by yourself! It's a simple and safe vote exchange that is free to use. I have more info on it in this post where I go over the system in more depth and, believe it or not, this has become my most upvoted post yet.
