@robert31- if you let me know at what level of investing you are at, perhaps I can write an article to help. I've had discussions with more >100 since 2011 trying to encourage people to take control and not be fearful of investing. For most of them, they had a fear of the unknown, to the point where most thought it was difficult to buy and/or sell a stock or ETF (electronically traded fund). Once I show them how easy it is to open a brokerage account or an IRA and to buy a position, they are amazed that it is not such a mystery.
