Investing profession

I was thinking do you only get to be an expert level investor thanks to experiences
or you could really legit learn it somewhere?
Because I just could not believe someone would gave their tricks and tips away
even for some cash.
We all know the more people use those tricks the sooner the source will dry out -
automatically or magically if you know what I mean.
